lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand.
Her practice begins with a recurring observation: that women are not simply seen, but narrated. Language, cultural memory, and circulating images produce stories about women that move independently — accumulating, repeating, and settling into something that resembles fact. These narratives do not require the subject's participation, and they do not stop when she steps away.
Pakinee takes this condition as her material. Working across painting, object-making, and moving image, she handles the words, classifications, and representations already in circulation — testing what happens when they are repeated past the point of stability, displaced into unfamiliar contexts, or held against the experience they claim to describe. Her interest is not in correction, but in exposure: in making visible the gap between how meaning is assigned and how it actually holds.
